The hotel was extensively renovated from its office building past in 2015, and is still in very good condition. The room itself was very clean, comfortable, well appointed, and with strong wifi. This was reflected in all the common areas. I didn’t use the bar or restaurant as we were out everyday, so can’t comment. The staff were professional and attentive. All in all, an excellent stay! But it’s the location that’s the winner. Circular Quay (and therefore access to trains, buses and ferries), The Rocks, Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Botanical Garden and the Pitt Street pedestrian Shopping Mall are all just 5-10 minute walk away. Darling Harbour is a 15 minute walk and a further 10 minutes puts you at the Sydney Fish Market near the Pyrmont Bridge. There are multitudes of convenience stores, bars, and coffee shops right outside the door, as is the Martin Place subway station. Highly recommended.

We attended a concert near the botanical gardens which finished late. It was 10-15min walk back to the hotel, very conveniently located on Pitt st. Walking distance to Ezymart, plenty of bars and restaurants, Pitt st mall and Martin Place and George st for train and light rail. The room is on the smaller side, clean and cosy. Bed was comfortable with a choice of two pillows. Room service with a great variety food. Breakfast was included: cereal, bakery and hot breakfast. Overall, we were happy with our stay. I would recommend it for its easy check in/out, friendly staff and most importantly, the beds.

Close to the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay to catch our cruise ship, approx 10 min walk with luggage. Staff were very friendly on check in. Room was very clean and had everything you needed, including tea, coffee etc with kettle and coffee pod machine and pods. Iron & Ironing board if needed in wardrobe. Bathroom had shampoo, soap etc and very clean. Bar fridge with some drinks available for purchase. The bed was so comfortable and warm was hard to get out of 🤣🤣 Overall very enjoyable stay for the 2 nights we were there.

Centrally located, easy to check in/check out, friendly enough staff, room small but was expected as room size is listed on Booking.com, appreciated only having to travel on the elevator to the restaurant, personal choice, but the beds were very comfortable and we found our room quiet. Others have spoken about the noisy pipes but for us this was a non-issue. Will definitely stay for 1 – 2 nights again in the near future.

Leonie

Great location, only minutes from The Pitt Street Mall. The staff are friendly and very obliging. In my opinion, this is more of a boutique style hotel. Smaller, cosier and a bit more personal. We enjoyed our smorgasbord breakfast in a well appointed room. Barrista coffee not included in the price but can be requested.
